The data controller
StratfordReel Editorial operates this publication as an independent affiliate cricket-betting guide. As the entity responsible for determining how personal data is collected and processed through this website, we are the data controller for purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our ICO registration number is on file and available on request. Our registered office details will be published at the point of commercial launch.
What we collect and why
We collect personal information in three circumstances: when you submit a contact form, when you interact with third-party analytics scripts to which you have consented, and when technical systems log server activity for security and diagnostic purposes.
- Contact form submissions: name, email address, and the message you write. Lawful basis: your consent at the point of submission (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Analytics (with consent): aggregated browsing behaviour via Google Analytics, including pages visited, device type, and geographic region at country or city level. Lawful basis: consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Server logs: IP address, browser type, and timestamp โ retained automatically for 30 days to detect abuse and diagnose technical issues. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in maintaining a secure publication.
How long we hold data
Contact-form submissions are retained for up to 12 months after the enquiry is resolved, then permanently deleted from our systems. Server logs are purged on a rolling 30-day cycle. Analytics data, if you have consented, is retained in aggregated form in line with Google Analytics' default retention policy (14 months), after which individual session data is deleted automatically.
Third parties we use
We pass data to a small number of sub-processors necessary to run this publication:
- Google LLC โ Google Analytics (analytics, with consent) and Google Fonts (typography CDN, no personal data processed by the font endpoint).
- Hosting provider โ server-log data is stored on the infrastructure provider's servers. Details available on request.
No personal data is shared with the operators listed on this page for ranking or commercial purposes. Affiliate referral tracking operates on anonymised click identifiers only.
International transfers
Google LLC operates data centres globally including in the United States. Data transferred to Google is subject to Standard Contractual Clauses approved under UK GDPR. No other international transfers take place without equivalent safeguards.
